I'm not sure if it's related but after the HAL/DBUS upgrades I noticed
that the funky "auto-mount?" function of the KDE-Desktop (where a USB
key or CD-ROM is inserted and automatically picked plus an icon put on
the desktop and into "media:/" in konqueror) is no longer working. I
suspect that the HAL libraries are messing this up, but have no real
conclusive proof.

The automount thingy in KDE should work again. k3b together with one or
two additional packages are still on my todo list for patches/rebuild
with new hal/dbus.

Auto cd or harddisk mounting and showing icon on desktop never worked for
me, although i have 'Show device icons' in Configure desktop enabled. I
had to manually Create new - link to device cd-rom device. Then it's ok.

And in media:// I see nothing, apart from 12MB device when I connect digi
camera into usb. In that case icon on desktop appears automatically.
