me too I 'd love to see HPLIP in arch. Perhaps it would make sense to
replace the hpijs package with hplip since the latter is a superset of
the former and it is more recent, supporting more printers.
Moreover, something more I would like to see is the latest afpl
ghostscript (8.51) with the patch in the following bug applied.

This way, together with the latest hplip drivers, black will be truly
black in HP printers :-).
