I dont see a reason not to, well, why do we have qt in /opt, why do we have openoffice in /opt ? even they can be blended all into main /usr, they are separate just cos they can exist separate. Having a separate games dir (with permission: root:games) provides a nice place to put even commertial games like quake, doom, ut* everthing in one recognisable and familiar area. Oh and Hugo seems to be very interested in flaming for no reason, if we go with his/her arguments, then almost all of the udev rules can be taken off cos "just 1 in 1000 may restrict the use of audio, optical, video or other devices". blah on flames and hugo, no ones gonna do anything to texteditors, dont worry. :P -- Vinay S Shastry _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
