Hey there Paul, thanks for replying.

My drives are: Plextor DVD-RW PX-712A, and Plextor CD-RW Premium. They
are both ATAPI, and I get the same results on both drives.

The more I play with this, the more I begin to believe it does have
something to do with my recent upgrade to udev. However, it seems odd
that both drives work fine under Gnomebaker, and by command line
instruction when using cdrecord.

Regarding my kernel, I've already tried several kernels including 2.6.11,
2.6.12,and 2.6.13 (in testing) and get the same results with all of them.
I've also tried udev 068 (in testing), but Graveman still doesn't see the
media.

I sent an email to the Graveman author/developer through his website and
through the mailing list, but didn't here back, and my mailing list entry
never showed up on the list for some reason, so no help there.

If you can think of anything , I'd sure appreciate your input.

Thanks,

ozar
