I finally get around to building it and what happens?
CC fs/unionfs/main.o
fs/unionfs/main.c: In function `init_unionfs_fs':
fs/unionfs/main.c:933: error: parse error before "UNIONFS_VERSION"
make[2]: *** [fs/unionfs/main.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [fs/unionfs] Error 2
make: *** [fs] Error 2
Any suggestions? This is archck3.1 - patches applied to clean src.

ArchCK is a derivation of the CK patchset that is taking a similar
path to the old CKO patchset. It aims to include a variety of
popular
features and updates that have not currently made it to the vanilla
kernel. Con Kolivas' CK patchset is the core of ArchCK and wouldnt
exist without it (thanks Con).
Patch (Apply patch to 2.6.13 - Already includes 2.6.13.1):

Changes from 2.6.13-archck2:
updated ck to 2.6.13-ck3
updated reiser4 to reiser4 from 2.6.13-mm2
updated unionfs snapshot to 020908
added software suspend
added some software suspend fixes
-dsdt added custom dsdt patch
I had a request to add the custom acpi dsdt table patch. I have not
merged this with the main patch, as I am not sure how this will
effect
fbsplash. If you're using fbsplash and a custom dsdt, please
tell me
if you have a problem.
Arch Linux Users, archck is available in the community
repository, to
get it, add the community repo and pacman -S kernel26archck. It
should be updated sometime in the next day or two.
Thomas: Give this one a shot and let me know how you go.
If anyone has any issues with this, drop me a line.
Enjoy,

Is this the ck patchset? I was able to compile my kernel with the
ck patchset without a problem but I also didn't compile everything
like the arch kernel has.
No. archck is ck patchset plus a few additionnal patches (similar
to the
ones cko used to have).

Oh ok. I might try this if I have a chance.
Have you tried compiling it without unionfs?
That would kind of defeat the point of having a unionfs patch
included, wouldn't it really? This is the kernel for [community] so
I include all the exciting options :)

Yes, but if you compile without unionfs and it works wouldn't you be
sure that the issue is within unionfs? Then if it is you might be able
to report it. BTW if I get chance to try this out what are you
compiling with unionfs like what opitions and a module or built in

I've already successfully compiled my own version without unionfs, so
that would seem to be where the problem is alright.
