At least explain the meaning of the repositories in pacman.conf in more detail
or people won't know what they should do.

Anyway if they are unaware of the meaning of package repos and unwilling to do just a little research they are probably better off with a distro like SUSE or Xandros... Even the considered user-friendly Fedora has only the updates and extras repos in its configuration by default which implies that they expect the user to do a little browsing on his own...
