seen this way, i think i was very lucky on this things ;-)

so what would be a working solution? what needs to be fixed? if we 
have a detailed summary on what to change with what i can then tell 
somebody who is in charge to do this change. i think this would be 
fastest, as hardly a dev has time to run after this matter if xorg7 
and other things are waiting for arch. however, if there is a clean 
and ready-to-use solution, i'm sure it will be applied immediately.
