Hello.

The xkbdata package currently in [testing] is broken[*], at least for
Greek, and the advised solution is to migrate to the XKeyboard-Config
package from freedesktop.org:
http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software_2fXKeyboardConfig

All I want to know is, whether this option went into consideration, and
if there is willingness to correct[+] the problem in any way before the
move to current take place.

Regards,

[*] Things like that (shipping a defective package while you know it is
broken, and you also provide the supposedly correct replacement) weaken
my trust towards the freedesktop.org people, but that is an entirely
different flame.
[+] I'll of course do whatever I can to help. All I need is some info
and a pointer where to look or what to do.
