I've checked for the rgb path and indeed i've forgot to resert it to /usr/X11R6/... Now everything goes well, but i'm still on 6.8.2. I've retried to upgrade to the 7, following the step in the judd article, but i've got the same strange behaviour and re-fall back to the 6.8.2... can anyone figure out why the 7 is having such a strange behaviour?
