So you're saying if I wrote a PKGBUILD for let's say Lua 5.1, and the Lua package in Arch is at 5.0 I can't submit it to the maintainers? Why not? I'm just wondering because to me it seems like if the dev team doesn't want any help, and I read somewhere the team is quite small (11 people or so) so I assumed they wouldn't mind any help, but correct me if I'm wrong. I was planning to post my PKGBUILD's for Lua, tinycc and nano on the forums but registration is still broken so I have to wait for that. ps. Arch is a really nice distribution, one of my friends told me about it, so I installed it in VMware to try it out and now I've decided to install it on my laptop that is running Ubuntu at the moment ;) -- Anders _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
