It is absolute right what you wrote but from my side the thread keeps alive because the were questions about "some not useful apps in the kdeadmin package" and "splitting the kdemultimedia package" too. I think we all missed the opportunity to start a new thread. I must say that this "python was for a while at 2.4.2 instead of 2.4.3" was for me not so much important. And yes my little python scripts works in the same way as before but this is not a wonder becasue i'm not a dev.
