All,
I was gzipping a file that is 4.9GB and recieved an error of
"Value too large for defined data type"
gzip installed from pacman gzip-1.2.4b..
read a few docs and got gzip 1.3.3 and built from source
"./configure"
"make"
"make install"
and it fixed the problem...

Can we patch or upgrade this package to support large files?
