Well, I see a problem if Arch switches to xorg-7 do that. It is possible to tell pacman not to update xorg via the NoUpgrade line in pacman.conf. But since Arch is not keeping old packages , every new installation will need to use the new xorg. At the moment, I think xorg-7 should stay only in testing or a xorg-7 package could be created which conflicts with xorg (as a temporary solution ). As a sidenote, is there any repository keeping the old PKGBUILDs ? > -- > Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/ > > _______________________________________________ > arch mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch > _______________________________________________ arch mailing list [email protected] http://www.archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
