I'm working in one company where we compile computers. :-) Core 2 Duo is MUCH better than Pentium 4 / D and better than Athlon 64 (in many benchmarks even Core 2 Duo E6300 can be on par with top Athlons 64 X2!). TDP is 65 Watt. Standard box cooler is _more_than_enought_!. It was designed to cool Pentium 4, but it was hard job, now the job is really easy.
