Some mirrors have old packages, you can find ntfs-3g there. The problem
is that the old package will have bugs that the new one doesn't have, so
staying with an old version is stupid. That's why we have to fix cube.

I don't understand it either. We have the fuse library 2.6.0, but the
fuse kernel module which comes with 2.6.18. Until now, every fuse
application worked well, but apparently the kernel module that comes
with 2.6.0 has some changes compared to the in-kernel one. These changes
make it incompatible to ntfs-3g.
I am now doing this: I will wait until tpowa releases the first 2.6.19
kernel (which should be in today or tomorrow I think) and see if it
fixes the bug. If it doesn't, I will patch the changes from the new fuse
kernel module into the 2.6.19 kernel. If you really need it now, you can
compile the fuse kernel module from the fuse source tarball, that one
will work.
