I'm sorry if this is slightly stupid. I use testing and unstable, but my Thunar is only from testing. Thunar 0.5.0rc2. However as a normal user I cannot delete files within Thunar, it says it cannot move it to the thrash. As root I can delete files fine. I think my normal user doesn't have the permission to the thrash bin. I end up having to open Terminal every time I want to delete something and it is getting to me now.
