It would like to know the following info:
1) what system libraries versions are used by liblightscribe (check with ldd)
2) CD-recording-related kernel config file options and patches that
are used in Mandriva
3) what cd-dvd nodes are in /dev
4) the output of 4l-cli enumerate
I hope there must be something visible that makes liblightscribe run
in Mandriva but not in Arch.

1) there is LightScribe SDK, so I think there will be more software
for labeling soon (or existing label-making software support for
LightScribe),
2) I doubt this will change in near and not so near future, because
LightScribe is patented.

Thanks for feedback!
