Can you mount device by just 'mount /mnt/usb' ?
Maybe line with /dev/sdc1 in your fstab file wrong and KDE cannot mount flash.
It must be something like 
'/dev/sdc1  /mnt/usb  vfat  user,noauto,codepage=866,iocharset=koi8-r  0 0'
