Just grep through /usr/share/hal for some line with "flush" option in it,
remove that. Make sure the XML stays valid. Older versions of hal are just
plain buggy as the latest version contains many dbus related fixes. Don't
use older versions of hal with the current dbus as it will break things.

Thats the problem, I think. I've fixed the kernel to 2.6.18 and it
will not be updatet (pacman.conf) because i use vmware and had
problems when updating the kernel.

The rest will be updatet every day. So I had to downgrade to a
previous hal package? Can you give me a Release No. from hal, where
all shouldt work again.
