Hi Guys,

i got problems using my ipod since i updated some days ago.
when mounting the ipod everything seems to work fine. but when i try to
change or write something, i get the message, that it's a read-only fs...
at first i thought it's a amarok problem cause i use amarok to fuel my
ipod shuffle g2. but when trying to recover the index using gnupod i get
also

"warning: Could not write to /mnt/ipod, iPod mounted read-only?
(Permission denied)"

trying to change something directly at the device end up with same result.
then i had a look at dmesg and discovered the following

"scsi 3:0:0:0: Direct-Access Apple iPod 2.70 PQ: 0
ANSI: 2

and so on...

btw: working with other fat devices works perfect.

can anyone help me to fix the problem or figure out the reason? maybe
some changes in udev?
thank you so much - michael
