actually... i'm doing this. i have private pkgs with docs and lecture 
materials (presentations, literature lists... that is completed and 
ready for usage), that install 
to /home/share/{docs,lectures,fun,...}/ and are intended to be for 
teaching people and other human activities. 

since this docs are mostly not for software but other subjects, i do 
not want to put them in /usr/share or somewhere in the OS but 
in /home. i'm aware that this is using pacman for packages that are 
not OS related, however it works so great that i do not intend to 
stop using it :) ... it is also great for sharing between 
coworkers/colleagues. a package installs always at the right place :)

maybe there is a better way to handle such things, but i came with 
this. comments welcome :)
