As a point of note, NOTHING should need to be done to pacman - there is no 'porting' pacman to support PackageKit, quite the opposite actually. Somebody needs to take the time to write a PackageKit backend that supports libalpm. I originally had interest in this, but personal time constraints didn't allow me, and I have since lost interest. Someone else, however, has started a libalpm backend which is included in PackageKit's git repo - this is 'pacman' support. Take a look at it and see what you can contribute, would be my suggestion. -- Travis _______________________________________________ arch mailing list arch@archlinux.org http://archlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/arch
