The install was fine, but I found the issue. I was opening the files through the dialog box in Gephi, and that was causing the problem. When I just open the .gephi files through windows explorer, they open correctly in Gephi and I can edit them. I had to get the JDK as described here, https://forum.gephi.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3580&p=10712#p10712 so maybe I messed something up along the way. I also wanted to double-check that the files on the Arches site should work just fine... Thanks! I downloaded the CDS .gephi files available on the Arches website, in order to test them out and try some modifications. However, when I open them in Gephi an error says that they can't be opened, "IllegalArgumentException" - [255,255,255]. I can view the graph, and move nodes, but that's it--can't edit them. I tried gephi 0.8.1 and 0.8.2. Thoughts? Am I missing something? Hope all is well, looking forward to the release of 3.0! -- -- To post, send email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>.
