Hi Scott, glad to hear you were able to figure this out. Those three things 
are all environment specific (though GDAL path may be more standard, could 
you please tell me what your path was?), so yes, they will need to be 
accomplished outside of a scripted install process. Thanks for being a 
willing subject to test this out :)
