Hi Adam, Happy new year! Thank you very much for looking into this error. It is not essential that we use GIF files but it would be helpful as we have many black and white line drawing site plans to upload and they look better as GIFs and they are smaller than JPEGs therefore quicker to upload.
The error first appeared on the production server but I have now tried it on the development server and it appears there too. The production server is Ubuntu 14.04, with Apache server. The development system is Oracle Linux v6.5, Django server. I have attached the error report for the development server example. Please let me know if you need anything else.
