Hi All, Right now, we mainly use svn based depsync in our product clusters. In order to use svn depsync capability, we have to point to an external svn server.
Running a separate server instance to cluster our products is not viable in some instances. Proposed approach, - use Git as the primary platform artifact syncup repository. - pack a git server in products, (gitblit ?) - again this can be feature installation or server profile thing - open for discussion. - manager node starts up the git server. - we can point to an external git server as well. - we have to think about the security aspect as well - close integration with our userstores. ** We are going to retire registry based depsync from here onwards. thanks, --Pradeep
