In the case of GREG, we have two options. 1. Internal Gateway - This is the default option. In this case api management (security, throttling, etc) are done through a tomcat valve.
2. External Gateway - In this case the Gateway is a separate VM. Your Store will advertise the location of the external gateway as the API's location. Client APP will call the Gateway and the Gateway will forward the request to GREG once its done with its stuff. In this mode the key manager could either be hosted externally or in embedded mode on the Gateway itself. Thanks, NuwanD.
