Hi Rajeevan,

My thoughts on this

But, this is different case from creating a new project, or importing an
existing project. Here, both App Factory and DevStudio is going to be cloud
based applications and interacting each other. So, putting this into "New"
category won't make any sense, I guess. WDYT?

I don't see why we should consider this any different to a git clone. This
is similar to a user cloning a project from git, only difference being the
project comming from the app-cloud. Since Eclipse Che support the git clone
via import project we can do the same for App-Facotry.

My concern with this approach is that by this we are having App-factory in
two places, if importing an existing project one place, creating new
project another place. But this should be OK

Is App Factory currently allow the projects to be created in local(In this
case, it is DevStudio), and to be committed to App Factory? or Is App
Factory provide any API for this purpose?, I think DevStudio (3.7.1) does
not support this feature.

Yes, in Dev Studio 3.7.1 we do not have a similar feature, I guess we need
to check with the App-factory/cloud teams whether this is feasible and if
so this feature is a must have from the user perspective

Awanthika
