Absolutely.  I'm ready to do (I guess) 0.9-alpha-1 from the current
trunk, just to practice the release process, but based on this thread
I don't think it would pass a vote.

yes, and it's something i don't quite understand, people is very
protective. The more stuff we throw in the harder it'll be to maintain
later.


Arnaud is looking for patches, can I take that as a "yes, we plan to
continue development on trunk" ?  In that case an 0.9-alpha-2 might
make it out.
