Now I realize this isn't the normal process, and heck, we (the archiva
pmc) haven't even established our own process for this.
This will be a public discussion, not on the pmc list (as ... well ...
the pmc list doesn't exist. yet)
I've asked James on irc (he's nick i386 on #archiva btw) if it would be
ok to discuss this in public.
He stated that it's fine with him, he just asks that any criticism be
constructive.
James has been shown that he is very knowledgable of the Apache Archiva
project, its source, and its goals.
I would like to nominate him as an Apache Archiva committer.
I'll leave this discussion open for a week, then call a vote if everyone
agrees.
