Thanks for sharing your plug in, Kevin! That’s a really great feature! I’ve been wondering if the Repository Processing Note should be integrated into the Collection Management module, if a preview of the module was still viewable in the same prominent area? I’ve often copied the contents of the Repository Processing notes into that area, although I understand that the Collection Management module also has more specific functions. Would it also be nice if there was a way to view Repository Processing notes related to a particular collection (say, if there are several nested archival objects within a collection with unique Repository Processing notes – currently it seems to only be possible to view this note if the individual record is opened)? When the PUI is implemented, as we are currently working through, it becomes crucial to manage the workflow around published vs. unpublished notes (and components). We anticipate relying heavily on the “Publish All” button at the resource level. For example, I used it to explain to staff why we decided to change the identifier of a collection from one normally reserved for manuscript collections to one that we use for university records collections. The idea is that if the actions listed in the Repository Processing Note get taken, we remove the text that’s there.
