There was discussion on this topic during the meeting (and prior to the meeting, from ARIN staff here on list), with the guidance being that the “shall” being proposed here would be enforced similarly to every other occurrence of “shall” as it appears in the NRPM; it becomes part of the RSA like any other adopted proposal that makes it through the PDP.
Don’t forget that in general, this proposal is a *relaxing* of current terms, which currently requires registering *all* static assignments up to /64; the keyword in 6.5.5.1 is *already* “shall”. -C > On Oct 8, 2017, at 6:18 AM, Dewole Ajao <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > If I were to guess, "should" would go through and a discussion would be > started regarding how to enforce a "shall" in a reasonable manner. > > My thoughts anyway. > > Dewole. > > > _______________________________________________ PPML You are receiving this message because you are subscribed to the ARIN Public Policy Mailing List ([email protected]).
