For the record, lest someone be confused, the "OP" of this thread is myself, and I did not post any images or forward any Spam.

The original image poster was himself responding to a thread titled "Spam replies to PPML posts?" by someone who was asking if anyone else received Spam after posting, which is true.

I've submitted an AUP complaint about both issues, and John has responded correctly here, so this entire discussion should probably be shelved.

Owen,

I agree. I also wouldn't support a ban. More importantly, this is all easily resolved with a *PLONK*. However, the OP made a serious error in judgement. The transmission of that image to the entire group was completely uncalled for. Any "reasonable person" knows better. Luckily Im using GMAIL. Otherwise, this would be a real problem for me.

        1. Slow down the train.

        2. Marilson,the correct answer is: "I'm sorry. It won't
        happen again."
I get that you don't like spam. I don't like spam either.
        Forwarding a
spam with potentially pornographic content to this mailing
        list was a
real bonehead move. If you can't accept that it was an error,
        perhaps
you should be removed from this list.

        3. Is there any compelling reason why this mailing list
        should permit
attachments in the first place? Can we not express our
        thoughts with
        words?

        Regards,
        Bill Herrin
