Matthew, Individuals may as “Sole Proprietors” receive resources from ARIN for use in the operation of their business operations. Some states require registration of a Sole Proprietorship, some do not. If the Sole Proprietor has a d/b/a that will be listed in ARIN’s Whois. Otherwise, the customer is informed that the Whois record will be listed as “Their Name, Sole Proprietor”. This draft policy is not making any changes to that.
