ACSP Suggestion 2026.9: Add IRR Object Action Logging Equal to the ROA Action
Logging
https://www.arin.net/participate/community/acsp/suggestions/2026/2026-09/

Author: Randal Kohutek
Submitted On: 11 May 2026

Description: Add IRR object action logging equal to the ROA action logging

Value to Community:

Currently, all ROA create/modify/delete actions are clearly logged in the
interface, including handy information about date/time, source, user, and
action. The IRR object system does not appear to include any such logging. It
would be of similar value to track IRR object actions, as changes to IRR
objects can impact routing and network visibility. Being able to identify when
and where a change occurred would aid in trouble shooting those scenarios, as
well as tracking any changes that might break ROA/IRR integration.

Status: Closed.

ARIN Response:
Thank you for your suggestion, numbered 2026.9 upon confirmed receipt,
requesting that ARIN add the action logging for Internet Routing Registry (IRR)
objects to match the logging functionality available for Route Origin
Authorizations (ROAs).

We agree this feature would benefit customers that need to track IRR object
actions. We are adding this suggestion to our routing security roadmap for
future development.

Your suggestion has been referred to our internal process for prioritization
and implementation planning and is now closed. Thank you for participating in
ARIN’s Consultation and Suggestion Process.

Regards,

ARIN
