Hi,
I've installed the latest snapshot (Build date: 1772846645 - Sat Mar 7
01:24:05 UTC 2026) on a Raspbery Pi 5 Model B. The Waveshare PCIe To 2-Ch SATA
Adapter For Raspberry Pi 5 is connected and two Seagate FireCuda HDDs to the
adapter. The dmesg output is attached. I have confirmed with Raspberry Pi OS
that the hardware setup works. The output of pcidump -v is also attached.
Things look normal to me, but I'm not so much into hardware and drivers.
"sysctl hw.disknames" gives me "sd0:,sd1:,sd2:cb9dff4910ee6eac"

Anything I try to do with the drives takes several minutes, even "fdisk sd0"
and "disklabel sd0". Because of that, I did not install OpenBSD with the disks
attached. That would probably have taken hours. Instead, I connected them after
installation. Since then, the boot screen hangs for 5-6 minutes at "scsibus3 at
softraid0: 256 targets" (line 162 in dmesg) and then continues to boot as I
would expect.

Did anyone succeed with a similar setup? Is there any tweak, or would it make
sense to report a bug?

Thanks in advance
stefan
