Talk shows are mixed: Oprah is done by a Chicago tv station but
is syndicated. Late nite shows are sometimes syndicated - like
Arsenio. Good Morning America is national and tied to the network.

I was unclear - few game shows are local but stations can
choose to drop a game show. Soaps, however, seem to be
standard - the network produces soap operas.
