Price is Right airs daily.  Survivor only three times so far.  Could it be that Price 
is Right contestants have seen the game played and picked up the optimal strategy from 
previous contestants, whereas Survivor contestants have not had similar opportunity. 
If so, neither set of contestants is "smarter", but one is farther up a learning 
curve.  More cynically, both sets of contestants are roughly equally stupid...  But a 
contestant might say that economic/game theory is stupid.

The players on "Survivor" may not have been smart enough, but the
players on "The Price is Right" pursue the correct strategy all the time
(bids of $1 if they think everyone has overbid or bids of $1 higher than
the highest bid if they think everyone has underbid.)
