Mr Manjunath,
It is needless to bring any language issue. The
issue is about music. I am also in Bangalore and my
mother tongue is also Kannada. So what are you trying
to prove/disprove here. IR and ARR are unique in
their own domains and I am never trying to prove one
is gretaer than the other. You guys are assuming
things.
What I meant was, it is wrong to call a person as
GOD and all that crap. He also gets inspired and if
he likes the inspiration he is going to use it. So
don't create overhype. If you carefully observe his
songs he has taken lot of inspirations from Malayalam
music directors, old musicians like MSV (for Roja Roja
song from Kadhalar Dinam which has inspirations from
Sirpi Irrukkudhu muttum irukkudhu.. song from file
Varumai Niram Sivappu), carnatic keerthanas etc also.
What I mean to say he is giving the same old music in
a new form that's all. After all music is just seven
notes. He is a good technician and knows all aspects
of sound engineering well. That's the end of it.
But I agree with you that ultimately music is the
winner.
