Hi GROUP.
We are struck at this point of time. We are facing
some problem in finalizing the issue related to
Dispatching of Material to Out Side countries. We meet
some Courier people from FEDEX n BLUEDART regarding
the same. When v got the Quotation from them, v got
just blind on our next move cos there pricing is too
high. Its 5-6 times more than the cost of the actual
cost of the Material ("Material" here i refer to
T-Shirt). Also i dint got ne time to enquire with
Indian POSTAL Department on the same as AMEYA
DESHPANDE (one of our Fan) has suggested.
Lemme list some of the Issues that v r facing..
1) Very High Pricing, cos of that some of u could not
afford.
2) Even though after dispatching, the delivering
party (Delivery Personals or Courier People) at the
other end will keep the material with them only for 2
days to deliver it. On some special request, they may
obey to keep the material with them for 10 days n not
more than that n this needs to go through lots of
procedure n formalities. This is a problem when our
FAN at the other end is not there in place to get the
material or not reachable at the specified address
which he/she is going to fill at the time of
Registration/Money Transaction time. If our beloved
fan is not there in place for 2 or at the max 10 days,
the material will bounce back to us along with EXTRA
Charge which v need to pay from our side. Okay thats
fine if the bounce back Quantity is less in number. We
will some how manage that. What if the Bounce Back
number grows more???? Who is goin to bare the cost. In
such case. the surplus charges on us will be """cost
of the T-Shirt + Courier Changes + Bounce Back
Charges.""" .And again we have to work on dispatching
the material to some others if they need it.
Note : We are (me n Bharath) just like other fans in
this group, dont have ne BUSINESS intention behind it
n we dedicate this work as a tribute our beloved ARR.
3) By the time when our group people receive their
T-Shirt, it includes the cost of "T-Shirt + Courier
Charge" which is dependent from place to place n might
grow in terms of money to buy(What v in this group
have discussed earlier i.e. Rs 250 /- to 300 /-
approximately per T-Shirt)Here, in this scenario,
Courier Charges are like Hidden Charges which other
fans might have not realized so far and courier
charges has to be paid by T-Shirt's Recipient (one who
receives it). Sooooo once if the Recipient come to
know abt the actual cost to have the T-Shirt with
them, chances are there that they might discard their
interest to procure the material primarily cos of COST
(MONEY). If number of people thinking in this
direction tend to grow more, then v might not get
sufficient Quantity (atleast 100 Numbers, this is
discussed earlier in the group) to place our order to
Vendor (Who manufactures the T-Shirt)...In such case
what shall v do??????
Note : The Online Registration form that Bharath has
created and u all have duly filled was mainly to know
the minimum Quantity (Number of T-Shirt). AND I REGRET
TO SAY THAT, OUT 6000 + FANS, V ONLY GOT 150+ ENTRIES
REGISTERED FROM ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.
These issues needs to sorted out at the earliest,
before v do ne moves further. V also want to have the
Material with us before the Concert
but
..
So, I kindly request all our great fans to mail ur
ideas/thoughts/suggestions in solving above specified
issues and given a chance, I'll be pleased to work on
it.
