I'm relatively new to this club.But i have been a fan of ARR for quiet a long time. I' ve been following him right from ROJA.Here is an announcement i want to make.A R Rahman has officially become the person to have won the highest number of the Indian Oscars i.e...... The Filmfare Awards.The award for the best background score for SWADES(in 2005) is his 17th Filmfare trophy, surpassing Kamal Hasan's haul of 16 awards.
Brilliant achievement is'nt it.Especially for someone who is even into his 40's.
But is the Filmfare jury right in denying Rahman ,the award for the best music in 2005 for Swades?The entire album of Swades was a gem where as Main Hoon Na (the eventual winner )had only a couple of good songs
