Hi Guru, I don't think becoz of money he worked in period films. If that was the matter he would've got it more from commercial films. It is easy to compose for commercial films than period films. And if money was the matter then how come he composed best tunes in Bose, TLOBS,Kisna, Swades etc.. And another thing I want to clarify that he had done couple of concert shows to raise money for New studio. and I am sure this is 100% right.
