AR Rahman : A true musical Genius.
Iam tempted to write this.. more correctly iam drawn into writing
this. Last night
after some tiring work at home, i wanted to relax. What better way you can
think of than
hearing to melodious music. I was sure the only man who could help me in this
regard was our
own AR Rahman. So i switched on my computer and started partying with Rahman.
The party had no
other invitees except Rahman. It started at around 11 and continued till 12.30.
It was all
Rahman's night. It had evreything from 'Chikkubukku' to 'Urvasi', 'Bhagath
Singh' to 'Roza',
'Kadhalan' to 'Gentleman'.' Mustafa' to 'Mukkaballa', 'Bombay' to 'Lagaan'. And
it was a
memorable party and i enjoyed it like heaven !.
AR Rahman's music is just mesmorising. He just makes me mad. Its
bewitching. He took
me to places i had never gone before. Mind relaxed like never before. Rahman is
a genius. It
healed my tired out brain and put it in flow even at 12.30-1 in the night. I
did some more work
from 1-2 feeling highly relaxed. It was enchanting.
Rahman is a born genious. Iam tempted to utter this again and
again. Thats why hes
able to think and come out with such hearting music regularly. You can feel
that quality and
class of a genious mucisian that written all our the music. He just sets fire
to your feelings,
passions and emotions and they run wild. You will be enthralled in a fantasy
world. He is a
master in his art. The domain, may it be purely entertainment, patriotism,
emotions,family he
comes out with perfection all the time. The starting, the middle and the in
between support
tunes, he puts class everywhere. Often he comes out quality music with ease.
Unlike most other
musicians music you will never feel bored if you hear to the same music again
and again. Infact
off late at night time i've been listening to some 5 of his selected scores
everynight 3 times
in a row!!. You would still what to hear again and again.
A true word about AR Rahman is that his trademark itself is melody
and class.
Everytime you can sense that gripping melody and class. Those are his routine
creations. But
time to time he comes with music which is really not music but magic. Music
that is of the very
highest quality. Truely world class. Music that'l make even a nymph dance.
Music that'l fill a
cruel brute's heart with emotions. All this is not mere flattery. These are
truely deserved
words in honour of a genious artist, forced out of the heart of a fan whos
simply lost and
enchanted in his music.
When Rahman scored the music for Roza. He was very young. Just 24
years old !. We
all know what he came up with. What a music score was that !! To say the least
truely amazing,
world class. Roza was a milestone in Indian Film music industry. A young man of
our age
creating a music that has that dances on the lips of millions of Indians in
India and
evreywhere else even today. And a music that'l be cherished and relished by
people for it's
true emotions, melody and enchantment for ages to come. That score would have
left any famous
musician speechless and made him to have a review of all his life long scores
and made his
envious of the young genious. Infact i feel one of the reasons for popularizing
Tamil as a
language or making it very much the voice of Southern India all over India very
much goes to
Rahman and his music.
He has redefined the contemporary Indian music in less tha a
decade. And has
scaled it to new heights. He is genious. A living legend. See again.. he
deserves all these
complements. You cant resist praising him so much. He is such great and
extraodinary
personality. Listening to his music any true music lover can opine that Rahman
is worldclass
and he is one of the greatest mucisians on earth today. Honestly he ranks
alongside some of the
greatest musicians of all time such as Beethvan, Mozart, Bach and others.
Because simple... he
deserves to be recognized along with them. We all need to be proud of of the
fact that this
genious mucisian is our own.
While acknowledging the greatness of the man i would like to
end this with two
words about him.
Firstly AR Rahman most times does not create music, he won't be mucisian
anymore. He creates
magic . He turns into a magician not a mucisian.
Secondly Rahman's music overall brings the much needed life to our lives.
And finally some much needed humour.. Whenever you hear to Rahmans music no
matter where you
are in the midst of a serious buissness meeting or in the bathroom or gulping
delicious food in
a five star hotel or driving on a national highway at 150 Kms/hr or watching an
exiting cricket
match .. anywhere it does not matter you would forget yourself and everything
else around you.
And just shake all your body and start to dance or be lost in a enchanting
wonderland of
hearting emotion filled melody.
And particularly at night if Rahmans entertainmenting music is on
and there are
plenty of mosquitos around one thing you can be rest assured you dont need a
mosquito mat or a
coil... not at all because all your feets, hands and body will be shaking and
dancing in the
isles all the time when the music is on. Infact this is true and tested
practically ! !.. So
Rahman is not just enthralling, entertaining or enchanting hes economical as
well !!!!
