Hi All, This is my first mail to this group, even though I have been a regular reader of all the mails...
I strongly disagree that ARR has not been dominating from past few years. Being part of this group, we need to appreciate the quality of the music rather than the commercial aspect of the movies, ARR made music for. In my opinion, his music is far beyond the number games and box office reports... Common guys, here is one person who is taking indian music much above international level, how can we compare him with other MDs, who have just started following his footprints... ARR believes music as a way of spiritualism, whereas others are only bothered about the making money with their music. For those who feel ARR is not the same as before, pls listen to some awesome compositions from Water, Bose and WOHE, and then judge his capability. Is it a sign of the times or sheer bad luck, i would not know but ARR will almost certainly bounce back with style like he always does. On the other hand i disagree with dinesh and others who think that ARR is wasting his time on concerts. Fans all over the world wants to see him perform live and its definetely an honour for ARR to perform for his legions of fans who have supported him > throughout his career.
