Hey guys,
I am in wollongong,australia and last night i was listening
to the fm radio channels here and just when i was flipping throu
channels,i was surprised to hear "GHANAN GHANAN" from lagaan..Then i
started to listen to it.Then the song fades out and a women started
talking.It was a program about bollywood movies.Then they talked
about LAGAAN and amir khan and said that the movie was a musical
extravagenza with good photography,direction some decent acting and
Brilliant score by A R RAMAN [they said his name like
that :)!] .then they said about lagaan entry to the oscars and then
the directors second attempt to make another wave with SWADES!And
they played the track "YEH TARA WOH TARA"..
WELL,the program ended soon,but as far as i listened the movies they
mentioned were LAGAAN,SWADES,MANGAL PANDEY,WATER AND the upcoming
RANG DE BASANTI!! YES ,ALL THIS MOVIES HAD ITS MUSIC DONE BY OUR ONE
AND ONLY RAHMAN!!!...I was spellbound.And i was proud to be a rahman
fan,coz in where part of the world u r,,,his music and magic is
never too far away !!!
