Vijay wants to bring the Puli back? February 01, 2006
You know that S J Suryah split up with Vijay because the latter
dictated how Puli should be made. There was a difference of opinion
regarding the changes that Papa Chandrasekhar wanted in the movie and
there was also discontent over S J Suryah's proximity to Simbu. Surya
therefore wanted to make Puli with himself in the lead. However the
matter is taking a different turn with Vijay doing a rethink.
The last few films of his have not been big hits despite the fact they
were remakes of Telugu super hits. Now Vijay is considering going away
from the beaten track and wants to do an original film for which Puli
sounds good. Will he call Surya back to do Puli for him? It looks very
likely. In fact, he has been nudging Papa not to interfere with S J
Suryah's working style.
