Hi folks , I am new to this group, as old as just a day. I have been a hardcore fan of Rahman's redentions. Hoping this group will enhance my knowledge about His Music and His contributions to the world of music. To start with, i came across this link through another Rahman man. Its quite old, and am sure many of you may already know about this Tsunami song he composed. http://www.donasian.org/video.htm Just wanted to share this with the group. Honestly ( no offence meant ) the song didnt impress me, knowing the intensity of music Rahman has in him. I felt the Lyrics (sepecially the english part) is too casual,,, and the video could have been made better by including more shots of the actual pain experienced by tsunami victims. Nevertheless, its a great thought, and full credits to Rahman for constantly thinking on these grounds. cheers -Rags
