  Hi all,

according to the english daily The Hindu, the pirated release is doing more
good to the soundtracks than harming since the orders have increased after
people heard the 3 songs. And also the tracks will be released 2 days in
advance. So, it must be on April 2nd.

`Sivaji' soundtrack, no longer a secret
  Susan Muthalaly

CHENNAI: The soundtrack of Rajinikanth's `Sivaji' is no longer a
closely guarded secret with three of the seven A.R. Rahman songs available on
the Internet.

AVM Productions (the film's production company) manager K. Viswanathan said
there were reportedly about 500 websites from where the songs could be
downloaded.

  Action awaited

The company has reported the leak to the cyber crime department and is
awaiting action. Due to this development, the movie's music may hit stores
two days earlier than the original launch date of April 4.

But thanks to the talented Mr. ARR, AVM has actually recorded an increase in
orders from dealers after the illegal release on the net, according to Mr.
Viswanathan.

He said the response was overwhelming and that the current order figures
stood at two lakh CDs and two lakh cassettes.

The songs that can be downloaded online are `Vaaji Vaaji', `Orukudai
Sunlight' and `Sahaan Saaral'.

  tks with regards,
  Amin
