Today i listened to all 7 trax of sivaji & have pre-ordered my CD. Good. And
my surprise sticks to how shankar is satisfied with these tracks when thinking
of his previous films with rahman ? Why that extra mile is lacking in todays
rahman songs ? thats not meant to negative. Or shankar could choose only these
sounds as best songs from the choice offered by rahman ?
But having heard past works of rahman a decade ago we could not resist
ourselves from questioning or expecting more or atleast upto that mark of 90s &
2ks music period of arr. Only reason that could be counted is at his present
situation..., his concentration is divided globally that he has to give sounds
to bollywood, then some international project comes his way where he is forced
to accustom to that kind of music to satisfy those westerners.
Naturally his level of work shrinks to regional level to say he convinces
local technicians upto this as he has to look more in other national /
international level projects. Result at the cost of local fans taste &
expectation he is thriving in other areas. Time has come certainly he has to
think to satisfy region-wise people with brand new sounds as he does only few
films in tamil.
HE SHOULD NOT & CANNOT DISAPPOINT TAMIL FANS HERE ANYMORE CITING REASONS AS
IT IS ALL DIRECTORS / PRODUCERS TO PULL MUSIC FROM HIM. RAHMAN SIR SORRY TO SAY
YOU HAVE BECOME AN OUTRIGHT BUSINESSMAN UPTO TAMIL IN SOUNDS. BCOZ OF NOT UPTO
TO YOUR WORDS OF "MUSIC IS YOUR PASSION" FROM YOUR SOUNDS HERE THESE DAYS. WE
ARE HERE TO SUPPORT YOU EVER BUT YOU FAIL TO RETURN YOUR SUPPORT THRO GRAND
SOUNDS TO THE VERY FIRST PEOPLE WHO GAVE INITIAL SUPPORT TO YOUR CAREER &
SOUNDS ???
