Why this unnecessary fight? The music will surely appeal to vijay fans for sure. It will be different you bet, but life has to be different. Vijay fans will love the songs. For Rahman fans like me, I am always disheartened to see rahman's music not reach the masses - ah ahh, KKS, etc. I know even if Rahman makes a gaana song for vijay it will be different and will be loved my us/me. Rahman is choosing heroes so that he can reach the masses. He has done an AMAZIGN job with sivaji and both group of fans love the music. So why wouldnt the magic repeat? It might be on a slightly smaller degree because its vijay (rajini's mass is incomparable) but still it is 5000x better than Rahman being associated with SJ Surya and other dumb directors.
